The North Face hands its VECTIV Forward to Engineered Garments for a first shared shoe — rocker geometry and plate kept, silhouette opened with a swappable tongue cover that turns lace-up into slip-on. Deep navy, quiet branding, New York campaign by Peter Sutherland. A runner built to commute as carefully as it races.
Colour is EG Navy × TNF Black (NF52601EG). Japan channels only: Friday 11 September 2026 at THE NORTH FACE FOOTWEAR Shinsaibashi and ENGINEERED GARMENTS TOKYO; nationwide the next day through the TNF Japan list on thenorthface.jp, Goldwin Online Store, and Nepenthes. Goldwin lists it at ¥38,500 tax in, sizes 23–29 cm (7 sizes, no halves). No USD MSRP published — we are not inventing one.
Shinsaibashi hosted a Peter Sutherland installation and zine through 27 September. Utility first; the New York pictures are the clothes around it.
