Cloudsoma

Post Archive Faction and On have been in conversation since 2024: Swiss engineering, Seoul’s avant-garde, a series called Current Form. This is the last one. Current Form 5.0 introduces the Cloudsoma, a trail-leaning silhouette Dongjoon Lim describes as a dialogue between rough and smooth, stillness and speed, wild nature and precise design.

The shoe first appeared around Paris Fashion Week. It arrives in three colorways — Cobble/Raven, Haze/Linen, Black — with a sock-like upper, asymmetrical speed lacing, CloudTec Connect, Helion HF, and a Missiongrip outsole. A city trail shoe, priced at $200. (Some later retail listings have sat higher; the advertised launch was two hundred.)

It dropped 3 September on on.com, postarchivefaction.com, and select stockists. To mark the end, land artist Strijdom van der Merwe built a circular stone installation on Tenerife as a permanent trail loop. A closed form, not a sequel announcement. That is the point of a last collection.
