Black Diamond calls this its most expansive collaboration in four decades. norda did not put a diamond on an existing last. The 000 is a new alpine shoe — Kunzite, Moonstone, Obsidian — mineral tones for high-mountain running, with Joe Grant in the room.
Seamless bio-circular Dyneema upper. Vibram Stream Flow midsole. Custom norda × Vibram Megagrip / Litebase soleplate, 5mm lugs. norda and Black Diamond list the shoe at $295; Black Diamond Europe lists it at €325. norda’s UK market lists it at £300.
The rest is kit, not merch: Distance 15 pack, Distance Carbon Z FKT poles, Mini Mission 30L duffel, Miniwire, tee, cap. Tools for the mountain as a system. Debut at Sanglard Sports, Chamonix, 26 August 2026; nordarun.com and blackdiamondequipment.com the same day; BD stores and a curated stockist list from 31 August. Some sizes have already gone.
